Circus Tricks with Dogs

We used to love Jen, and Jen used to love tormenting Shasta with all kinds of adorable nuisances.

Like here, where Shasta is wearing Jen's mug on her head.  Shasta is so over it!

Qtip across the street from the Google Earth camera car.

Think Qtip was on Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles when she spotted this.

Meanwhile, this is what the humans have been eating as part of a juice diet.

Seriously, tastes delicious and leaves you feeling spectacular!

Poop Party

These flies are getting down on a pellet poop party.

If you're not a rabbit or a deer (it was probably from a dog), that's some small poop!  Unless you're a fly, and then its dinner.

Eww.  Gross.

Cat Wearing Sunglasses

Qtip is a diva, and if this cat were to wear sunglasses, they would be large and in charge like these one's her mom is putting on her.

Qtip says "Hike Los Angeles!"

Qtip the admiring the view of Los Angeles from the back side of Griffith Park.

This crazy cat on a leash loves to hike.  The pace might get slow, but this girl has hiked 3+ miles many times.

Cat Head like an Eel

Qtip's head pokes out of her play hole like an eel in the ocean.

Trust us, Qtip bites just as hard!

Shasta Gets a Butt Sniff on a Pig!

Hell yeah!  Shasta got right up in this pig's junk, sniffing it and nosing it a little.

The pig was not bothered by Shasta in the least.  The pig was spoiled--literally.  It would sit there squealing, and the owner said that it wanted food!

Very cool to see a pig on a leash, and people taking their unusual pets out of the house!

Shasta's Still Smilin'!

Shasta can't understand Qtip's temperamental ways.  Shasta does not get nasty--Shasta is always smilin'!

Shasta Back to Hunting - Rabbits!

Shasta much prefers being the hunter, and if she would have been let off leash she probably would have caught one of these cute bunny rabbits!

The rabbits were pets of the guy, and he brought them to the park in downtown Los Angeles.  The white one was not scared of dogs, and kept taunting Shasta by walking close and acting tough by kicking its hind legs.

It was really cool to see how the rabbits stayed right around their human.

When the Hunter becomes the Hunted

Shasta is used to being the one doing the hunting with other animals--but this giant snow leopard at the Los Angeles Zoo had other plans.

The snow leopard stalked Shasta.  You can see in all the pics the attack cat creepin in the background.

Dogs were not allowed close to certain exhibits, like this one, for obvious reasons.  These are wild animals, and it is just a fence between you and them.

Monkey and Dog Squaring Off

This baboon at the Los Angeles Zoo took a real interest in Shasta.

He was not agressive.  He looked surprised at first, and then sat down to check her out further.

Shasta says "Can I get a chase up in here!?"

WTF Is This!?

Shasta gives this sneaker wearing sheep a complete and thorough going over thinking "WTF is This!?"

(it is probably made out of real fur the way she was sniffing at it!)

Shasta knows how to hydrate!

Mom presses the button and Shasta stands up to drink.

With Iggy looking on.

Sick Kids

Holding Hands

Iggy is the sweetest.  Here are Iggy and Shasta holding hands and sharing a moment. Shasta has started to cuddle with the cats a little (shhhh. . . we won't tell the other dogs!)
